My adventure all started with friendster in 1999. I briefly joined the social network until hearing that myspace was “much better”. I had heard foolish rumors that friendster was an east coast “thing” while myspace was a west coast “thang”. imagine that, a web coast rivalry, that’s just silly….
… but i had to go westsiiiiiiide.
I was pushed through the nasty social debris of myspace for about a year, all the while frustrated by it’s interface. I figured they were onto something, but the alternatives just wern’t out yet, and perhaps never would be. I commited myspacicide when Rubert Murdock bought myspace out.

2007. Hello Web 2.0 movement. I’ve resurrected my online identity as maubrowncow, not only with this wordpress powered blog, but countless others that i’ve forgotten about. So I decided to take roll today. All maubrowncow identities, please reply when I call your name.
