My first graphic novel. Extremely well written and the art is beautiful. It’s tough moving on to the 9 frame, less detail oriented drawing format of The Watchmen after reading The Walking Dead. So far there is nothing mind blowing about the series. The setup is formulaic, but entertaining and earnest. Volume 2, however, is looking very promising.
I promise never to knock comic books ever again.
