I’ve been a fan of Wine Bars since visiting my first in San Francisco a few weeks ago.  And by “fan of”, I mean, I’ve thought to myself, “Gee, I should find one in LA, cuz the one in the bay was great”.  I introduced Alison to an All you can Eat Chinese buffet off Barrington and Wilshire, and she introduced me to Air Conditioned Bar in exchange, for some after dinner port.  Now you see which one of us is the classiest.

Air Conditioned Bar is marked by a sign in neon blue, easy to miss, and it looks like a dive, like it’s neighbor, “The Joker”.  Walk inside, and say hello to lush Hollywood styling, people, and prices… without the attitude.  The bartender was more than happy to edumacate us in selecting a port of our likings.  I recommend you get there before 10pm for this kinda primo service.  That is, before the DJ comes in to liven things up with rare raga and DJ Farina style beats.  You can find this joint here.
