God is a DJ
The Los Angeles Detour concert took place this past weekend, and I found myself in the Cathedral of Saint Vibiana on Second and Grand. I was simply appalled that these DJs had ripped out all the pews and defaced the pulpit with 5,000 watts of computer and turntable powered devil music. i just stood there in shock, at the distasteful morbidity, as I drank my beer. It turns out after the 1994 northridge earthquake, it was decided that the former cathedral would be renovated as a performing arts center. I admired the venue and tasteful music, as I drank my beer.

Our Church uses a senior citizens center building temporarily, which the building is also used rented out for private parties. When I found out a friend of mines brother was going to have his wedding reception there, i didn’t think anyhthing of it until I started drinking Jack and Cokes in the middle of the dance floor where the congregations usually sits.

If God is a DJ, is his MacBook Pro ‘Michael the Arch Angel’?
Besides, sipping my fine Hinekin brew in the confessional was pretty fun, I must admit. I may start going to confession!

Interesting post. I have made a twitter post about this. Others no doubt will like it like I did.
